- Abstract
The microwave dielectric properties and microstructures of 0.95MgTiO-0.05CaTiO ceramics with different amount of NdAlO additions, prepared by the solid-state route, were investigated. It is found that doping of NdAlO can significantly improve the density and dielectric properties of 0.95MgTiO-0.05CaTiO ceramic and the sintering temperature of 0.95MgTiO-0.05CaTiO ceramic can be lowed to 1275 °C. Microwave dielectric properties were correlated with the singtering temperature and the amount of NdAlO additions. A maximum Q × f of 78000 GHz associated with an ε of 20.94 and a τ of −10.31 × 10/°C was achieved for the 5 wt% NdAlO-doped 0.95MgTiO-0.05CaTiO ceramic sintered at 1275 °C/4 h.
