- Abstract
The article presents the results of a double-blind randomized controlled trial comparing the efficacy of triamcinolone and magnesium sulfate as adjuvants to local anesthetics in caudal blocks in patients with chronic low back pain (CLPB). The pain score was measured with visual analog scale (VAS), while functional ability was measured with the Oswestry Disability Index (ODI). Based on the results, a combination of the adjuvants can improve the pain level and quality of life of patients.
