- Abstract
The article looks at the growing disparity in enrollment of females and males in engineering course at the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy (IMSA). A literature review on the trends in physics and engineering enrollment patterns is made, followed by a quantitative analysis that examine the gender disparity in enrollment in other physics courses. Potential reasons for the disparity were explored, along with suggested steps to proactively address the disparity,
