- Abstract
The article offers un update on influenza activities in the U.S. from August 30 to October 31, 2009. The World health Organization (WHO) and National Respiratory and Enteric Virus Surveillance System (NREVSS) found that 30 percent of the 163,123 respiratory specimens they tested were positive for the influenza virus. The CDC also tested antiviral resistance of influenza viruses, including the H1N1 virus.
