- Abstract
Research on entrepreneurial education recognizes the importance of experience as a process, based on action, practice and learning. However, this study challenges educational theory and experience, based on the following problem: What are the main skills that students can develop through entrepreneurial education in elementary school? And its general objective is to identify the most common skills that students can acquire through entrepreneurial education in basic education. The theme of this research becomes relevant due to the fact that, given the changes in the job market, entrepreneurial education has been a pillar of transformations in the school environment. The research was classified as exploratory and aimed to provide a greater understanding of a problem. It was carried out at Escola de Ensino Fundamental Família Agrícola Antônia Suzete Olivindo da Silva with a pilot class from the 6th grade, using the case study method. The research used both quantitative and qualitative methods to collect and analyze data, aiming for an efficient approach to the problem. An interview guide was carried out with the students and an interview with the teacher to collect information about the skills developed by entrepreneurial education. Data analysis was done by tabulating the responses on the Google Forms platform, creating graphs to make the students' responses clear. It is concluded that it is essential that schools and educational institutions adopt entrepreneurial education as an essential component in the training of students, aiming to prepare them for the challenges of the job market.
