- Abstract
The structure, the phase composition, the pattern of distribution of alloying elements in the structure, and the long-term strength of refractory alloy 45Kh26N33S2B2 in cast condition are studied. The degree of segregation of chemical elements in the γ-solid solution and in the carbide eutectic and the compositions of the segregated carbides and nitrides are determined. The instability of the cast structure of the studied alloy is explained. Recommendations are developed on application of cast alloy 45Kh26N33S2B2.
