- Abstract
The article presents information on Language Keepers, a project of documentation dedicated to the revival of the language of Maliseet Indians. The methodology of this project is described. It is based on filmed conversations with native speakers of this language. Details on the Advancing Audio-Visual Documentation of Passamaquoddy Group Discourse project are provided. According to the article, Language Keepers combines language documentation, the construction of a dictionary, and archiving as a way of reinforcing one's knowledge of the language.
