- Abstract
The downhole test data of intelligent stratified water injection wells needs to be transmitted upwards wirelessly. According to the basic principles of injected water flow characteristics and pulse generation, the basic structure and shape of the rotary valve that generated the pulse signal was designed. The mechanical structure and performance parameters of the valve port were optimized by the optimization design software, and the rotation torque and pulse pressure amplitude under different working conditions were simulated. The optimized design of the rotary valve port type line is a fan shape and the number of valve ports is four. The generated pressure pulse amplitude reaches more than 0.8 MPa, which can successfully realize the accurate upload of downhole test data when the water injection volume is only 50 m³/d, which provides technical support for the realization of wireless transmission of intelligent water injection wells. Based on the above optimized results, a water injection well rotary valve pulse signal generator that could generate continuous pulses with injected water as the power transmission medium was designed. Its transmission mode adopts positive pulse upward transmission. The next step will be the trial production and testing of the pulser. The indoor test further optimizes its structure to meet the requirements of field application.
