- Abstract
A letter is presented describing the case of a man who complained of visual disturbance oculus dexter (OD). He was diagnosed with aphakic bullous keratopathy for which a femtosecond-laser-assisted Descemet's stripping endothelial keratoplasty (FS-DSEK) with secondary intraocular lens (IOL) sulcus fixation was planned. Several reasons for the central thickening of the donor posterior corneal disc (DPCD) created by an FS laser are presented, such as the presence of air bubbles during the procedure.
