- Abstract
In recent years, researchers at home and abroad have conducted in-depth studies on rubber powder modified asphalt (AR). However, AR has poor workability due to its high viscosity. So Terminal Blend (TB), which has better performance, has attracted extensive attention. This paper summarizes the research progress of TB rubber powder modified asphalt at home and abroad and analyzes TB modified asphalt from the preparation process, performance factors and quality improvement measures of the TB rubber powder modified asphalt. The results show that TB rubber powder modified asphalt has internal stability, large low temperature ductility and strong fatigue resistance, so it is widely used in road industry. Its production equipment is relatively simple, and it is suitable for factory construction without stir‐ ring. Adopt the production way in closed equipment, can carry on the unified treatment of waste gas, avoid the pollution to the environment.
