- Abstract
COVID-19 demands socioeconomic and health measures to protect society. Many corporations are aligning their interests with social objectives as a way of answering to this demand. In the first place, this article analyzes how the logic of the gift contributes to a humanistic vision of economic activity. Secondly, the theory of human action is proposed to make operational the logic of the gift in corporations. Finally, this research will connect the introduction of the logic of the gift in corporations with the construction of a more resilient society to face present and future syndemics.
