- Abstract
This article explores the crisis in legal studies and the potential benefits of incorporating restorative justice into university law courses. The crisis in legal studies is attributed to factors such as public distrust of lawyers, perceived injustices, and an overemphasis on economics. Restorative justice courses are seen as a way to address these challenges and bring new perspectives to the field. However, the implementation of these courses may vary depending on the legal system and teaching methods used. The article argues for the inclusion of restorative justice in legal education based on normative and factual reasons, suggesting that it can reorganize legal knowledge, enhance understanding, and promote a more holistic approach to justice.
