- Abstract
The article focuses on the collaboration between Great Britain and NetComposites to develop bio-derived composites for use in the automotive, marine and medical industries. The Department of Trade and Industry contributes more than a third of the total cost of the collaborative research and development (R&D) project. The plastics being created in the scheme will be made from plants. Other project collaborationists include Sam Weller and Sons and Ecocats.
