This article focuses on initiatives to eliminate the use of hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFC) in air conditioning systems in the Persian Gulf. It discusses the demand for air conditioning controls in the region during summers, concerns of industry representatives on the use of HCFCs, and the criteria for identifying low-global warming potential alternatives.
