Nonresidential Setting Records; Pace to Continue.
- Abstract
The article discusses the pace of nonresidential building development as of June, 2007, which is said to be considerably higher than the previous year, in contrast to the residential housing market. Examples of percentage changes are cited for categories such as government office buildings, nursing and assisted living facilities and parking garages. The director of economics for Reed Business Information, Jim Haughey, is quoted forecasting probable nonresidential construction trends, noting that continued growth is expected through 2010.
