- Abstract
Objective: To explore the expression profile long noncoding RNA (lncRNA) in oxidized low-density lipoprotein (ox-LDL) treated human umbilical vein endothelial cell (HUVEC) compared with normal HUVEC. Methods: The expression profiles of lncRNA and mRNA in ox-LDL treated HUVEC compared with normal HUVEC were analyzed through the human lncRNA microarray. Results: 141 lncRNAs and 113 mRNAs were identified to be different expression (fold change ≥2.0) in ox-LDL treated HUVEC compared with normal HUVEC. 35 lncRNAs and 28 mRNAs were identified to be different expression (fold change≥4.0). Conclusion: Compared with normal HUVEC, there are evidently differentially expressed profiles of lnc RNA in ox-LDL treated HUVEC. LncRNA may play a partial role in endothelial dysfunction and damage.
