- Title
Comments on "The Hyphenated Airman".
- Authors
Hopper, Jr., John D.
- Abstract
The author reflects on the article by Robert Poynor entitled "The 'Hyphenated Airman': Some Observations on Service Culture" in the Fall 2007 issue. He discusses the implication of the author's use of the phrase "multicultural tribalism" in paragraph five, which was directed to minority groups, such as African-Americans, Hispanic-Americans, Asian-Americans, and women, on the perspective of a military service. He believes that the phrase is not applicable to the Air Force.
