- Abstract
The global oncology doctrine includes an understanding of the oncology problem in its entirety and the relationship between causal factors (social, psychological, hereditary, etc.), mechanisms, treatment, prophylaxis and active tracking. The aim of this study is to show the emotional state of the oncologists in the initial stage of treatment and the need for a comprehen- sive and supportive attitude of the different specialists towards them in the healing process. Material and methods of study: Persons (male sex - 30 persons and females - 20 people aged 18-80 years) with proven oncological disease and one chemotherapy course undergoing treatment in the Military Medical Academy - Sofia, Department of Hematology, Chemotherapy and Oncology. The following methods were used: 1. Theoretical analysis of literary sources 2. Janet Taylor Manifesto Scale - MAS, 1984 Knowing the leading, fearful emotions of the oncologists that occur as a result of the illness we will be able to work with them to relieve their physical condition and hence improve the social and psychological adaptation of the individual during the illness.
