- Abstract
The article discusses the use of multicriteria analysis in valuing developmental crime prevention programs. It cites the advantages of policy that invests in young children including promoting equality and social justice, improving human capital and economic productivity. It presents a structured method that provides a better policy decisions by evaluating program alternatives and eliciting individual relative utility values for use in cost-utility analyses.
