- Abstract
Kidney transplantation was carried out three times in a 27-year-old woman suffering from chronic glomerulonephritis, with rejection each time. Subsequently, she was treated by hemodialysis, using a Tenimo AVF set, via an arteriovenous fistula instituted in her left arm. After several months of treatment, she developed an eczematous infected dermatitis around the site of the cannula injection. Patch testing was performed and positivity to epoxy resin 1 percent was found. After changing the hemodialysis set to another type containing the epoxy resin, this therapy could be continued without skin problems.
