- Abstract
The article discusses how youth participatory action research (YPAR) as out-of-school time (OST) can serve as a social justice for Black, Latinx, and Indigenous youth, along with recommendations for educators, practitioners, and researchers. Topics include changing the learning context toward inclusion of Black, Latinx, and indigenous youth, the recognition of YPAR as a radical pedagogy, and flexibility to fit the needs and experiences of youth.
