- Abstract
The aim of the study was to predict pregnancies with FGR by whole-genome sequencing of cell-free fetal DNA (cffDNA). In the study, gene promoter coverage of 17 genes were found to be differentially expressed between 42 pregnancies with FGR and 168 healthy controls, by the DNA-sequencing analysis (figure 1a). We construct a FGR classifier (FGRC) based on 13 gene (HPS5, PTDSS2, OR4P4, PNRC2, CD63, VPS35, VAV1, DNPEP, TCF7, DPP6, LANCL2, GPAT4, FAM214B) combination with the logistical regression model, achieved high performance (AUC > 0.7 and accuracy > 79%) in 1st, 2nd and 3rd trimester to distinguish between FGR and controls.
