- Abstract
The article discusses the increasing risk of nuclear war and calls on health professionals to raise awareness and take action to prevent it. The current efforts for nuclear arms control and non-proliferation are deemed inadequate, and the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons has progressed slowly. The article highlights the catastrophic consequences of nuclear war, emphasizing the urgent need to prioritize the prevention of nuclear weapon use and the elimination of nuclear weapons.
