- Abstract
Violence among children and adolescents is a critical area in mental health. Tragically, the range and breadth of violence committed by young people is escalating. This article examines the increasingly violent behaviors of children and adolescents, considers family of origin variables, and explores critical issues facing clinicians in helping children and families cope with the specter of violence.
