- Abstract
Future studies would be needed to precisely investigate the association between dermoscopic features and tumor location, histopathological type as well as skin phototype. Neurothekeoma, a hard to diagnose neoplasm among red nodules. Neurothekeoma is a rare, benign skin tumor, which most commonly occurs in women in the second to third decade of life within the head and neck area.1,2 It usually presents as an asymptomatic, pink-red or brown nodule, although some lesions can be painful under pressure.1 Dermoscopy of neurothekeoma seems to be under-investigated, with a few cases reported in the literature.3-8 Herein we report another two cases of this entity and summarize previous data on its dermoscopic features.
