Correction to Exploring the Use of Serum‐Derived Small Extracellular Vesicles as Liquid Biopsy to Study the Induction of Hepatic Cytochromes P450 and Organic Anion Transporting Polypeptides.
- Abstract
The article titled "Correction to Exploring the Use of Serum-Derived Small Extracellular Vesicles as Liquid Biopsy to Study the Induction of Hepatic Cytochromes P450 and Organic Anion Transporting Polypeptides" discusses a correction to the units used to describe the concentration of small extracellular vesicle (sEV) derived protein concentrations. The correct units should be fmol/2 mL post-size exclusion chromatography (SEC) sEV concentrate, rather than fmol/mL plasma. This correction applies to all sEV derived protein concentrations in the manuscript. The authors also note that the prediction of midazolam plasma area under the plasma concentration-time curve ratios (AUCR) was presented as successful, but there are inherent assay experimental errors that make the calculation of non-liver sEV CYP3A4 protein concentration difficult. The authors apologize for the error and provide a revised version of Table 2 from the publication.
