- Abstract
The article discusses the work done by the American Jewish community especially the Non Governmental Organisation the European Jewish Children's Aid (EJCA) as it tried to engage and resettle young holocaust survivors post World War 2. Topics include the important postwar work done by EJCA for Europe's displaced children and youth, the prolonged institutional care provided by EJCA, and the rehabilitation of young survivors through immigration to the U.S. by EJCA.
