The author discusses the value of Foucault among Ipili speakers in Papaua New Guinea. He cites the works of ethnography researcher Jadran Mimica and Jerry Jacka, who have together created a chance to consider the importance of Foucault to Ipili materials. The author also shares his experience in visiting the country in which he realized the value of Foucault theory among Ipili speakers.
