- Authors
ATEŞ, Ahmet Emre
- Abstract
It is a well-known fact that legal framework of Turkish political history is based on not only the German philosophy of law but also on French law. In this case, the influence of French jurist Léon Duguit's ideas over those of Ali Fuad Başgil, jurist and especially political figure in 1950s and 1960s. are highy important. Therefore, it can be argued that firstly the Turkish political structuring converges with the legal structuring and secondly that in this field Ali Fuad Basgil's perception of national sovereignty is impressed by Léon Duguit's explanations on the principles of both social solidarity and the so-called "règle de droit."
