- Abstract
The article discusses the concept of territorial authority in the financial regulation in the U.S. It provides the meaning of the framework, which constitutes a diverse array of tactics and regulatory power employed by national authorities to govern mobile market participants. However, it also notes the implications of territoriality, which has accelerated in the wake of the financial crisis. Nevertheless the concept remains an important factor in global coordination process.
