- Abstract
The article discusses the issue regarding the precedental value of tort law on contributory infringement in the U.S. It provides a description on the existing state of contributory infringement law and records the doubt in this jurisprudence. It explains the dissent of courts to the general application of tort law standards. It notes that epidemiologists may gain better sense of where resources should be deployed to fight diseases affecting public health.
