- Title
Nanoscale devices: Untangling nanowire assembly.
- Authors
Weiss, Nathan O.; Duan, Xiangfeng
- Abstract
The article focuses on the concept of nanoscale combing, a technique proposed by Charles Lieber and colleagues which aims to align nanowire assemblies. It says that the technique was based on a molecular combing method used for aligning DNA strands. It states that the opposite design strategies, the bottom-up and top-down, were employed for the goal. It adds that the technique can be applied in various devices including advanced integrated circuits, flexible, and three-dimensional electronics.
