- Abstract
The article discusses differences between the Canadian and the U.S. experience with scientific testimony regarding standards of admissibility of expert evidence. It addresses tension between the adversarial character of the U.S. legal culture and the investigative character of science which explores irreconcilable differences. It mentions that defendants have a constitutional right to take action for forensic scientists responsible for evidence regarding their cross-examination in court.
