- Abstract
From diverse points of view, the article addresses some aspects of Philip rv's collecting in the Alcázar de Madrid. Through these, r will analyze the manner in which the works of art were used and the func* ion that they fulfilled inside the Alcázar. It also evaluates the building i self as an object of collecting through a study the Octagonal Room. Part of the presentation wSl in addition concern the role of Velázquez.
