- Abstract
We designed and implemented a dual-band square patch antenna with circular polarization for the reception of GPS and DMB. Resonant elements of 1.5- and 2.6-GHz bands are entire square patch and inner square patch divided by slots, respectively. And impedance bandwidths (VSWR ≤ 2) are 61 MHz (3.84%) for 1.5-GHz band and 138 MHz (5.15%) for 2.6-GHz band. The implemented antenna has a good radiation pattern characteristic. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
