- Title
Narrow band imaging for sulcus vocalis—an often missed diagnosis.
- Authors

- Abstract
NBI can exhibit the sulcus vocalis significantly owing to its unique appearance as a black/grey slit in white zone.[4] This is a result of the increased density of the collagen fibres.[5] Hence, we would like to emphasize the promising role of NBI in the identification of laryngeal lesions, particularly sulcus vocalis to avoid a missed diagnosis. Role of narrow band imaging in relation to stroboscopy and white light laryngoscopy in diagnosis of benign nonvascular glottic lesions.
