Five Key Rulings: Industry Needs to Respond.
- Abstract
The article highlights the announcement of e-mail specialist InBoxer Inc. that information technology (IT) needs to respond to Five Key Rulings for e-mail archiving and discovery under the U.S. Federal Rules of Civil Procedure. Roger Matus, InBoxer chief executive officer (CEO), asserts that IT departments that put off implementing e-mail archiving and electronic discovery systems need to know about five key court rulings issued in 2007. According to Inboxer, some of the major points in the rulings include the notion that the courts are no longer tolerant of organizations that have not implemented timely programs to accurately retrieve e-mail.
