On March 12, 1989 Tim Berners-Lee launched the first internet browser, called the WorldWideWeb, later renamed Nexus. In recognition of its 30th birthday, a team at CERN embarked on a five day hackathon to recreate a working replica of the original browser for computing posterity. Johanna Hamilton reports
