- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 45-year-old female with known Sneddon syndrome (SS) presented with progressive aortic insufficiency (AI) and New York Heart Association Class III symptoms and echocardiogram revealed severe central AI with thickening and restriction of all three aortic leaflets and preserved ejection fraction. It includes histology of valve revealing dystrophic vasculopathy with microthrombosis on the surface of the leaflets.
