- Authors
Kirk, Russell
- Abstract
An essay is presented on the life of American philosopher Donald Davidson and the conservatism of the Southern states in the U.S. It offers a background on the life of Davidson and his view of the Great Society which he believed is organized under a national government that is driven by men's desire for economic welfare. The author relates that southern states are against the idea of a centralizing power and that the U.S. Congress continues to treat the South as if it were not part of the U.S.
