- Abstract
Considering there were no predisposing risk factors or distant sources of infection in this patient, as well as previous reports linking I CARD9 i mutations to cutaneous or invasive candidiasis, we sequenced the I CARD9 i gene of this patient. Moreover, in patients with I CARD9 i deficiency, I M. irregular i infection was reported in only one case, and candida endophthalmitis was reported in two cases. Here, we identified, for the first time, a patient with primary cutaneous mucormycosis, I Candida i onychomycosis and endophthalmitis carrying I CARD9 i mutations.
