- Abstract
The article discusses the overall frequency of the nonobligatory use of overt subject pronouns in Tunisian Arabic languages by analyzing the sociolinguistic interviews with speakers from the Great Tunis area. Based on a study, there is a very high rate of null subject pronoun use in Tunisian Arabic. Also cited are the studies of subject pronoun expression in languages like Spanish, Arabic, and Japanese.
