- Abstract
The article discusses the study which aims to evaluate the remaining concentrations, phytotoxicity and hazards of propanil in rice fields and nearby areas in Dumas, Arkansas. The study used denim-gauze pieces and air monitor for the measurement of possible exposure after its application. It used methods such as high performance liquid chromatography (HLPC), extraction and purification. Results show that non-applicatior workers are exposed to low amount of propanil during aerial application.
