- Abstract
The article presents a report of a case of bilateral cytomegalovirus (CMV) retinitis with unilateral optic neuritis in a patient with the Good syndrome, or hypogammaglobulinemia associated with thymoma. The case report of a man with progressive decrease in visual acuity (VA) and a history of surgically treated malignant thymoma is presented. He was diagnosed with bilateral CMV retinitis with unilateral optic neuritis and was given ganciclovir injections. The patient did not improve despite intravenous and intravitreal ganciclovir injection.
