- Abstract
The involvement of international radio broadcasting in the world information order has received little attention. Do messages from Western radio broadcasters to Third World nations share characteristics of other Western media messages identified by analysts critical of the present structure of international communication? Do Soviet radio messages to developing nations have these qualities? To answer these questions, the content of Voice of America and Radio Moscow newscasts transmitted to Africa and Latin America was analyzed.
