- Abstract
Using ethnographic methods and procedures, this article investigates the process of language revitalization among Halq'eméylem language learners, teachers, and key personnel within the Stó:lō Nation, located in the areas surrounding Chilliwack, British Columbia. Through a series of in-depth interviews, several challenges were identified relating to the process of language revitalization and cultural identity. This article describes the community's journey.
