- Abstract
The spatially-coupled low-density parity-check(SC-LDPC) codes have near-capacity limit performance, and small latency can be obtained by using belief propagation with certain limitations. In order to improve the decoding performance of windowed decoding(WD), a new mechanism for windowed decoding with premature termination and dynamic window size is proposed. The method monitors the dynamic change of the window size and the average number of iterations consumed by the corresponding window. Through the simulation analysis under the additive white Gaussian noise(AWGN) channel, the proposed method has lower bit error ratio(BER) and complexity compared with traditional WD method.
