- Abstract
The article presents the discussion on incorporating personalizable glucose targets and user-initiated modes for reducing or intensifying insulin delivery in special situations. Topics include Continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) being routinely used by persons with diabetes with the newer CGM technology; and anticipatory guidance dealing with predictable patterns of increasing insulin requirements such as chronic conditions requiring steroid therapy or hyperglycemia.
