- Abstract
The article focuses on the general election in the Lower House of parliament between Social Democratic Party of Austria (SPÖ) and the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP) in 1995. It relates that the Austrian People's Party aims to make economic and budgetary strategy which is the main focus of the election, but it experienced to lose support in the polls after the 1994 electoral collapse. In 1995 political campaign, all political parties have gathered with representatives of all other parties in two-party confrontations wherein both parties differed in their campaigns's concentration along with their respective leaders.
