Spontaneous bleeding and poor bleeding response with extended half-life factor IX products: A survey of select US haemophilia treatment centres Factor IX (FIX) has distinct pharmacokinetic properties compared to factor VIII (FVIII) including distribution to the extravascular space. This included 24 (34%) who received recombinant factor IX (FIX) albumin fusion protein (rFIX-FP) and 31 (44%) who received recombinant factor IX Fc fusion protein at some point.
